Talamone

Talamone is one of the most exclusive places on the coast of Tuscany where you can enjoy some splendid crystal clear waters and an amazing gastronomy.

Talamone village is located in the south region of the Tuscan coast, just a few kilometers from Grosseto, in the heart of Maremma. 

The village was very important during the Roman Era, however, it was destroyed by Silla (Roman Emperor) for their support for the rebel Gaio Mario. During the Middle Ages due to its strategic position the village was rebuilt. During this period it belonged to the Spaniards and in 1860 it became a part of the Italian Republic.

Nowadays Talamone is a beautiful coastal town with its towers, perfectly preserved walls and a lovely old town where it is possible to eat some excellent fish in any one of its many restaurants.

Talamone is also an exclusive tourist harbour, with wonderful rock beaches and crystal clear waters.

This place is so beautiful that some scenes from the James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace" was filmed in this beautiful coastal town.
